Kinsale-based artist Dee Pieters is once again participating in the annual Incognito art sale on April 26, in aid of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. Alongside celebrities like Ronnie Wood, Mark Feehily, and Paul Costello, Dee contributes to the sale featuring 3,000 original postcard-size artworks, each priced at €65.

This marks Dee’s fifth year supporting the charity, which provides vital in-home nursing care for children with severe cognitive delays. Though the foundation’s services weren't needed by her family, Dee feels deeply connected due to the loss of her godson’s daughter.
Known for her sea and landscape paintings inspired by memory, Dee works primarily with oil and palette knives to capture the depth of her emotional connection to the landscapes of Kinsale and West Cork. Her works are highly sought after, with her 2012 painting, Calm in the Estuary, voted Cork's favorite painting.
Dee's art is a reflection of her love for nature, evoking emotions through vibrant colors and textured layers. As she shares, "When buying art, it's about loving the piece so it brings joy every time you see it."
The Incognito sale is an exciting opportunity for both established and emerging artists, offering affordable original art while supporting a meaningful cause.
